This is a very good introduction to the art of playing the Bansuri Flute by Flute master G.S. Sachdev. All the demonstration pieces are playing on an "A" flute, which is small enough for beginners to grasp, yet big enough to have a nice tone. The first part of this two DVD set is a 40 minute lecture demonstration of the basics of playing Indian classical music on the bansuri. The second part shows how to play 4 different scales (Bilaval, Bhairav, Kafi, and Kalyan).Please note each item is handmade.
